Sunday service, March 6th

The service began with a prayer in which, among other things, we asked God to embrace Ukraine and our Ukrainian friends in these difficult times.

Brother Peter Pilch reminded us that our mission is to fight against the spirits that want to destroy everything that has to do with Christianity. We encounter different people: some are superficial, not much changes in their lives, others are sensitive to signals from God – the conduct of such is getting better and this is noticed. An example of this attitude was Brother S. Bratlie, who already as a 10-year-old felt the need to be better for others. Let us nurture such an attitude and obey the voice of God.
Hebrews 5:7-8: “In the days of his flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and supplications, with loud cries and tears, to him who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverence. Although he was a son, he learned obedience through what he suffered.”

Brother Samuel Pilch admonished us not to end up as a “Sunday Christian” – to attend services willingly and make resolutions, while forgetting the goal on weekdays. God wants our faithfulness every day. Let’s bring edification with us to gatherings.
